Hello again! I did another mini-closet tour last weekend in preparation for this week’s post! This time, I pulled out a few of my favorite pieces and attempted to restyle them in a fresh way. My friend, Lara, whose Substack Middle & Out is worth a follow, suggested some styling for a sequined Dries skirt from my last closet tour, which I give a try in this video as well!
I’m in NYC for a quick work trip and made a visit to one of my favorite wellness spots, Ora, which is coincidentally across from an easy pit stop that I love for brunch and lunch, Spring Aspen Café. Ora is an acupuncture spa that also carries some of my favorite TCM skincare lines, including Omad, a line that I’ve mentioned here before. They do acu facials and also carry these Yina sheet masks, which have a pretty incredible lifting and soothing effect (I credit the ginseng). On this trip, I also tried the infrared sauna at Chillhouse, which has a buy one/get one free deal that I happily took advantage of.
As far as non-wellness related NYC spots go, I always make a visit to Abhaya in Tribeca, which specialized in Asian antiques and has some really special ceramic pieces. I also love to pop into Espasso in Tribeca, which is a showroom for Brazilian mid-century and contemporary furniture. It’s a great source for interiors inspo!
Alas, the mini closet tour…! :
I love this series and all the content that you have shared with us so far...I now want to try to restyle some pieces in my own closet.
I would love to get a bit of insight of how you "plan" your buys for the season or how you budget. Or how do you keep track of items you loved but missed out on and the track down years later. :)
love these series! i'm glad the tank top worked, and thank you so much for the shout out! you are the best!! Your style is killer.
